The Challenge

To return to the true essence of what bareMinerals represents they set out to redesign their brand to focus on the clean nature of their product ingredients. This “clean beauty” coupled with a contemporary visual update became the groundwork for their flagship site’s facelift. With the new brand identity in place, the bareMinerals team engaged Elevate to implement and create a cohesive digital brand experience.

Our Solution

To ensure our designs aligned to the new brand language we worked closely with bareMinerals’ Global Creative Team. The new brand features imagery that evokes nature and purity through photographs of bright blue skies, calming waters, and hints of a floral utopia. This was incorporated into each digital touchpoint, including email and social media along with simple animations and videos to capture the user’s interest and promote click through. Additionally, we worked through every detail of the original website’s page templates to implement the new visual language while making strategic user experience recommendations to further optimize the site.

To keep our designs true to the approved look, we utilized Frontify, a brand management platform, to create an interactive digital brand guide. This 100+ page style guide was seamlessly integrated into the bareMinerals’ digital asset library and included page templates, asset templates, rules for digital usage of brand elements, as well as extremely detailed design specs and instructions for developers to implement and maintain the approved website design.
