Redken Fifth Ave. engaged Elevate on several occasions to extend existing offline campaigns for their women’s and men’s line of hair care products. From an online ad campaign and micro site for “Designer Blondes” to a landing page and sweepstakes promotion for “Redken for Men,” the client was so pleased with the results, they continue to engage us for their interactive marketing needs.

BACKGROUND

Elevate was recently challenged to design and develop a micro site to help Redken celebrate the 20th anniversary of their Shades EQ professional line of hair coloring products. The site should be a celebration of the brand as well as recognizing the loyal stylist community for their fanatical following of the product. A sweepstakes component should engage the stylist, allowing them to further embrace the Shades EQ brand.

SOLUTION

We worked closely with the Redken marketing team to create a technically-advanced, video-enabled social-networking site which included a sophisticated back-end video content management tool. The site includes information about the product, color formulas and video interviews of famed stylists rallying behind this popular professional line.

RESULTS

As the creative is currently running, we do not have the overall campaign results. We can say, however, that the client is extremely happy with the creative product and has received a lot of positive feedback from the salon marketplace.
